The Trust

Community Chest Trust has been established to ensure a lasting legacy for the people of the Central Coast. The Chest currently has over 85 beneficiaries, these local charities cover the areas of Youth, Health, Aged, Disability and Families.
A Trust will ensure funds for our beneficiaries well into the future.

A company, family or individual can arrange a bequest or donation directly to the Trust. Alternately setting up a foundation will ensure funding for your specified needs.

Foundations

A Foundation is a legal agreement within a registered Trust.

A foundation facilitates an opportunity to direct funding to a specific cause. It can also provide the ability to give a lasting legacy to commemorate an individual, family or company. 
An example is the Iris Foundation.

The Iris Foundation

The Iris Foundation is for the prevention of suicide, primarily focused on young people and their families on the Central Coast.

“Iris” is the vision of light. The Foundation is named after two mothers who unselfishly nurtured, supported and encouraged their children and grandchildren with unconditional love and acceptance which makes a difference to a child’s self esteem and healthy development.

local fundraising campaigns and corporate sponsorship will provide finances to local services for direct service provision and programs for the prevention and early intervention of suicide.
